I first got into the blues when I was just a kid
Ramblin' up north it was one of two cassettes we had
I had never really been exposed to it before
but got to love the rawness and honesty of it
(and) it's stayed with me ever since

The Blues means different things to different folk
It affects us all in different ways
Some feel blue, some feel happy and some .... well…
I am not here to tell you what it is or how to feel
But there are folk who can!
